R.I.P.

O.k. so I never got around to writing an update on K.D. and now the news isn't good. She was doing so well. She ate very well and walked all around. We bought her a calcium suppliment. I even got her a bird multivitamin as well. We also heard that she needed sunshine everyday so her body would produce what it needed. She got outside time everyday, but only at a time it was warm enough because her temperature is supposed to stay aroung 85 degrees. She was one spoiled bird! I felt go guilty and I guess with all my pregnancy hormones I really wanted this bird to do well. But, sometime in the wee hours of the morning on Monday she passed. Luckily, she went down hill fast and didn't seem to suffer. Rest in peace little K.D. The kids took it well and haven't talked about it since I told them Monday.
