LONG overdue

Those that checked on us, I'm sure have given up!  It's been so long since I've updated my blog!  In the last few months we had Halloween, trips to Sea World, Caden's Birthday, a two week vacation in Arizona, Christmas preparations, Gingerbread house making, A nativity night, Juliana's 5K, Christmas, a camping trip, and Ella's birthday.   Phewww!  It's been busy but fun.   There is so much I could write but there is no way that I could write about everything and do it all justice.  My favorite part was the vacation to AZ.  It was so much fun to see almost ALL our family and so many of our dear friends.  We love you all!  I've added a few pictures and I will hae to get more off of the camera later so I can add more!  The pictures are in no particular order!

Mother and Daughter Campout

Megan, Ella, Raelyn and I went to the Mother Daughter Campout this weekend. I decided that camping alone with three kiddos ages 7, 2, and 3 months is a LOT of work! But, it was also a ton of fun and I'm really glad we went. Ella and I had a great time roasting marshmellows and eating smores. Megan and I had a ton of fun staying up late talking and giggling. And, Raelyn did great. She was really happy all weekend. I think she likes new things to look at and I know she loves being held in her wrap. I was really wishing I had my camera. I thought I had one but when I went looking for it I couldn't find it. I found it while loading the kids in the car to go home. Ugh... oh well, we'll just have our memories to remember such a great but crazy weekend.

Raelyn's Blessing Day

Larry blessed Raelyn a few weeks ago.  I always love hearing Larry bless our babies!

Weekend Vacations

We recently took two mini vacations. One Day trip to Tampa and one overnighter to Sanibel Island.  We had a great time shelling, playing at the beach, exploring museums, and seeing the Dolphin with a prothetic tail.

Fun at River

We have some great friends here.  One of which is Mike and Anna.  We bought kayaks together a few years past.  Larry and I bought modest family friendly kayaks.  Then Mike goes out and buys these great sit-on-top kayacks that were a ton of fun especially at the beach.  Larry and I recently bought a little snark (sailboat).  It was only $75.  We are a bad influence because Mike liked it.  He bought a nice one!  We love having them as friends, not only are they a ton of fun to be with but they always get cool toys.  Mike taking out his kids Corbin and Tyler, and two of ours, Caden and Ella.  They all loved it.  And what a brave soul to go out with 4 kids all 5 and under!  Megan had a turn on the boat but also spent some time entertaining Mike and Anna's youngest Rylan.

Third Day of School

Life got crazy and we missed taking pictures of the first day of school.  Better late then never, right?  Megan started 2nd grade and loves it.  Caden is in a Pre-K program at a local methodist school.  He loves it.  Caden's teacher always starts the day in a fun way.  The other day they had to take thier shoes off to come into the classroom.  They were going on a texture walk.  What fun!
