Ok, so juliana is making me elaborate. The birth went swimmingly well, especially for the doctor. (had to be there, but use your immagination) Anyways, after the perfect birth, the placenta decided that it didn't want to follow. The doctor waited a bit and did what she could in the delivery room, but to no evail. Eventually she decided that surgury was necessary and out came all the forms to sign. She informed us that a D&C would be the first course of action, but if that didn't work she would have to open her up and try to clean it out that way. Se also informed us that a chance existed that a hysterectomy might be necesary. (Not very good news for a couple that wants to have another one) So with this on our minds they wheeled Juliana away and to condence the hour of waiting, they sent up word that the placenta came out without a problem and Juliana was back with us after shaking off the anesthetics. Since then, things have been great. Juliana and Raelyn are both doing fine.

Latest Ultrasound

My doctor was a little worried because our baby had quieted down a little this last week or so (the baby was still doing flips and acrobatics a few weeks ago- so I was relieved!).  The doctor sent me in for another ultrasound.  I was a little resistant but followed doctors orders.  I was glad I did because it was fun to see her.  She looks so huge and ready!  They estimated that on Wednesday she was already 7 lbs 12 oz!  That's my biggest baby yet!  I hope they are wrong especially since she's still growing.  When babies are in womb they are covered by hair, which is shed during the last weeks, but ours has already shed all of hers.  You could see it floating in the fluid.  I also got to see her "breathing" the amiontic fluid.  She seems ready.  I can't wait.  Well...  Maybe I can wait until Mom and Dad Seiter come on Monday.  I would attatch pictures but they didn't get any great ones.  So, you all will just have to wait (hopefully) just a few more days when she comes.

Painting

Never leave a two year old alone, even for a moment, at the table with paint.  Lesson learned.  At least it was washable paint!

Dirty Kids

Our Landlord has promised us grass, but for now we just have a dirt backyard. Here's a couple of pictures of them after playing in the dirt with some friends.

Ella Kicking the Potty

The other day I was in a not so sanitary public restroom with Ella, that was especially small. Ella wanted to flush the toilet but I didn't want her to squeeze by the toilet but I also didn't want to bend over to flush it myself (I'm that large with child now). I told her that I would kick it. So I kicked the flusher knob and it flushed. We washed our hands and left. A day or so later we were in the park public restrooms and she kicked the toilet then flushed it. Hmmmm, I thought, but nothing was said. Then that night we went out to eat, and sure enough we found ourselves in another public restroom. This time she gave the toilet a good solid kick, right in the front of the bowl, and said, "It's not working." She tried kicking again a little to the side. Still it didn't flush. She then reached over and pulled the flushing knob and said, "Now, it's working." It was then that I remembered the incident of me kicking the knob and getting it to flush. We all had a good laugh at that one!

Megan Turns 7!

Ahhhhh! I can't believe she's already seven! Megan read the first Harry Potter book and decided that she wanted a Harry Potter birthday. The funny thing is that she hadn’t seen any of the movies but was set on it. It was a little tough because no one is selling Harry Potter things anymore. But, it ended up being a really fun theme. We made a bunch of wands for the kids. When they came they got to have a wand choose them. Larry set up a stack of cups with a bottom one attached to fishing line. The fishing line wound behind our entertainment center and was quite concealed. If the wand chose the child the cups tumbled when waved at them. The kids ate it up. We had transfiguration class where we played charades. At potions class we made a few magical potions. We practiced our quiditch skills by dodging bludgers on the trampling but I think learning how to levitate a phone was the biggest hit. Larry set up another fishing line attached to a toy and strung up and over a wall into the kitchen. I hid behind the fridge and pulled the string after they learned the spell. The kids were soooo cute about it. They were smart enough to figure it out but played along and even had to show their parents how they could do magic when they came to pick them up. Lastly, we had divination class where we all tried to guess what was in the present before Megan unwrapped it. Even with the kids giving us hints we all failed at divination.
