Ok, so juliana is making me elaborate. The birth went swimmingly well, especially for the doctor. (had to be there, but use your immagination) Anyways, after the perfect birth, the placenta decided that it didn't want to follow. The doctor waited a bit and did what she could in the delivery room, but to no evail. Eventually she decided that surgury was necessary and out came all the forms to sign. She informed us that a D&C would be the first course of action, but if that didn't work she would have to open her up and try to clean it out that way. Se also informed us that a chance existed that a hysterectomy might be necesary. (Not very good news for a couple that wants to have another one) So with this on our minds they wheeled Juliana away and to condence the hour of waiting, they sent up word that the placenta came out without a problem and Juliana was back with us after shaking off the anesthetics. Since then, things have been great. Juliana and Raelyn are both doing fine.

Congratulations. She is absolutely goregeous!! I cannot even begin to imagine the emotions you must have been feeling with the birth, the scare and the warnings all at once. I am so glad it turned out fine
