Halloween 2011

Halloween was busy.  We went to SWRI work party where Megan and Bryce won awards for thier costumes.  We went to a ward trunk-or-treat and trick or treated around our neighborhood!

Sept 2011 We closed on our new house!

While in Arizona we got a call from our landlady saying that the owner of our home got angry and wants us out of our rental.  We asked why he was angry and she said that she has no clue and thanked us for being good renters.  She was being fired too.  He wanted us out in days but he had to give 30 days notice, and she was kind enough to give us to the end of August- which was just over 30 days.  What a nightmare.   We were already working with a wonderful Realtor and so we passed the news on to her.  We really wanted to get a good deal on a house so we were willing to wait, but now we needed to find that good deal now.  After we got home, we looked at all the houses that were on MLS that fit our criteria but nothing seemed right so we started to look at renting somewhere else.  But mid-August the perfect home became available.  It was a foreclosure in a great neighborhood.  It was bigger than we needed, within walking distance to both a middle school and a great Elementary school.  It was a GREAT shape.  Before looking for houses Larry and I prayed about what we should spend on a house and an upper limit came to mind.  They were asking a bit over that upper limit and our Realtor didn't think we would be able to get it that low.  We started negotiating and sure enough when we offered our upper limit they accepted!  We closed on Sept. 16, 2011, which ment that we did have to move out of our rental and move everything into storage shortly after Larry had knee surgery.  We stayed in a hotel for a little over 2 weeks but it all turned out wonderfully!  We feel so very blessed to be in this home.  It has been perfect for our large family.  I love the schools.  My kids have friends.  We love our new house!

Arizona, We will Go!

We first drove to Arizona and then went to Utah for the Seiter Family Reunion and Uncle Brandon's Wedding!

Unlce John and Aunt Peefie Visit

We loved it when Aunt Peefie and Uncle John lived in Houstin and we got to see them all the time!  For the weekend of the 4th of July they came and we went to the zoo!
