Raelyn's Blessing Day

Larry blessed Raelyn a few weeks ago.  I always love hearing Larry bless our babies!

Weekend Vacations

We recently took two mini vacations. One Day trip to Tampa and one overnighter to Sanibel Island.  We had a great time shelling, playing at the beach, exploring museums, and seeing the Dolphin with a prothetic tail.

Fun at River

We have some great friends here.  One of which is Mike and Anna.  We bought kayaks together a few years past.  Larry and I bought modest family friendly kayaks.  Then Mike goes out and buys these great sit-on-top kayacks that were a ton of fun especially at the beach.  Larry and I recently bought a little snark (sailboat).  It was only $75.  We are a bad influence because Mike liked it.  He bought a nice one!  We love having them as friends, not only are they a ton of fun to be with but they always get cool toys.  Mike taking out his kids Corbin and Tyler, and two of ours, Caden and Ella.  They all loved it.  And what a brave soul to go out with 4 kids all 5 and under!  Megan had a turn on the boat but also spent some time entertaining Mike and Anna's youngest Rylan.

Third Day of School

Life got crazy and we missed taking pictures of the first day of school.  Better late then never, right?  Megan started 2nd grade and loves it.  Caden is in a Pre-K program at a local methodist school.  He loves it.  Caden's teacher always starts the day in a fun way.  The other day they had to take thier shoes off to come into the classroom.  They were going on a texture walk.  What fun!

Boats

We have been in Florida for 4 years now and have finally done it. We bought the most beautiful wonderful ski boat. Ok, really it is a 1978 century runabout with a rotted out floor, but the engine runs beautifully after just a little work. But we think it was a steal for just $375.
Just two days earlier we also bought a small sail boat, and I do mean small! It is 11' long and 3' wide with a single 8' triangular sail. It is quite fun though. The first day we had it we took it out in 11 mph wind with gusts of 23 mph and man you could really get moving. We have a couple of pictures of each of the boats below.

Ella

I just liked this picture.  I took it a little while ago but I thought I would share.  I think Ella's eyes are growing bigger every day!

Boogie Boards

I really thought our kids were too young to appriciate boogie boards. But, when we went out with the Crooks and thier older kids let Megan and Caden play with thiers, a new hobbie was born. Well, Megan and Caden enjoy it...
