Boats

We have been in Florida for 4 years now and have finally done it. We bought the most beautiful wonderful ski boat. Ok, really it is a 1978 century runabout with a rotted out floor, but the engine runs beautifully after just a little work. But we think it was a steal for just $375.
Just two days earlier we also bought a small sail boat, and I do mean small! It is 11' long and 3' wide with a single 8' triangular sail. It is quite fun though. The first day we had it we took it out in 11 mph wind with gusts of 23 mph and man you could really get moving. We have a couple of pictures of each of the boats below.

Ella

I just liked this picture.  I took it a little while ago but I thought I would share.  I think Ella's eyes are growing bigger every day!

Boogie Boards

I really thought our kids were too young to appriciate boogie boards. But, when we went out with the Crooks and thier older kids let Megan and Caden play with thiers, a new hobbie was born. Well, Megan and Caden enjoy it...

Caden

We've been home more often lately because of the new baby and I felt like the kiddos needed something (other than the computer games and T.V.) so I decided to teach them a little embroidery. Megan is pretty amazing and finished her project on the first day. She learned the running stitch, the whipped running stitch and the outline stitch. She's pretty good at all three. Caden did a lot better than I expected and really seemed to enjoy it. But, being four he didn't last as long as Megan. But, after a break being Spiderman he came back and worked on his project some more. I thought it was so cute, my little Spiderman embroidering, I had Larry snap a picture.

Caden has been such a great big brother lately. When Ella was a little intimidated at the park, she just clung to him. He was so patient and held her until she was ready to play on her own.

Caden wanted to try out my new baby carrier and asked me several times. Finally before church I strapped it on him and he wore Raelyn for as long as she lasted (2 seconds).

A few More Pictures

9 Days old

A few of my favorites.

Megan and Caden Ride!

Grandpa Seiter took the peddles and training wheels off of both Megan and Caden's bikes while he was here for Raelyn's birth.  They practiced a great deal with him.  In typical Grandpa Seiter fashion the kids would come in crying with a new battle wound and Grandpa would talk them into going back outside for another battle with the bike.  But, I have to say, they still adore their Grandpa and one or two more practice sessions with Dad and they were riding on thier own.  Megan rides like a pro and Caden isn't too far behind!
