Unlce John and Aunt Peefie Visit

We loved it when Aunt Peefie and Uncle John lived in Houstin and we got to see them all the time!  For the weekend of the 4th of July they came and we went to the zoo!

Raelyn's Birthday

Happy 3rd Birthday Raezy!  Raelyn went to Build-a-Bear for her birthday where she made a cat that she named Giggles.  She LOVED Giggles!

Megan's Birthday

Our beautiful girl turns 10!  Where does the time go?  Wolves are her favorite animal and she loves to draw.  We got her drawing supplies and a drawing book.  She also got a leash and harness for Carlos.

Larry and I decided to take the family to a rabbit show.  I explained to the kids on the way that they may have rabbits for sale but that we were NOT getting a rabbit.  I wanted them to pick out thier favorite rabbit, but we were NOT getting a rabbit.  And, which bunny do they think that the Easter Bunny was- but we are not getting that kind of rabbit because we are NOT getting a rabbit.  I must have told them 5 or 6 times that we were not going to get a rabbit.  All the venders were really cute with the kids and a few asked if they were getting a rabbit and the kids obediently explained that we were not getting a rabbit.  They were so good and the even was free so to support the show we decided to buy a few raffle tickets.  They had lots of things up for the raffle including a few bunnies.  There were lots of people putting in raffle tickets and only a few bunnies so we let the kids put thier tickets where ever they wanted thinking, "what is the chances that they will win a rabbit?"  Well, they did!!  Megan won Carlos, a beautiful black otter Rex.  Larry spent the next two days building Carlos a hutch.
